What we’re obsessing over this week.
Angelina: Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser
Instead of using four products, I switched to using one. I tried this cleanser when Sephora threw in a free sample with my recent purchase. Now, it’s my new little one-stop shop for removing makeup, cleansing, toning and moisturizing my face. When I wake up in the morning and go to bed at night, Purity by Philosophy is my first pick. The cleanser is light but creamy and has a slight lather when used with warm water.
The great thing about this cleanser is that it cuts down time from my beauty routine, which means quicker to be out the door in the morning and quicker to get to bed at night. It saves me money since it has everything all in one and has worked great on my combination sensitive skin. This is a quality product that you can try out for free when requesting a sample at your local Sephora store. Sephora knows how to keep a girl coming back.
8 oz. Purity by Philopshy $24 at Sephora.
Summer: The new lifeguard
I have waited a long time for this summer to come, and it has not disappointed: long days, short nights, watermelon, popsicles and mojitos abound! Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, my neighborhood pool got a new lifeguard. AND HE IS BOMB.
He is tall, dark, and handsome, complete with the classic red lifeguard trunks and whistle. I’m not sure what makes him more appealing: the oh-so-cliche hero fantasy, or that he rocks the full beard/man bun combo, and likes to show off on the diving board (oh, he knows EXACTLY what he’s doing!)
If you’re in the DC area, I highly recommend checking out Banneker pool before labor day for some solid bae-watching.
I may have to drown some time this summer.

All of this!!!!!!!! All of this! Haven’t tried that purity cleanser, but it’s definitely on the to-do list. Also- lifeguard! Not bad at all.
